SMBC Ushers Ministry

The Ushers Ministry plays a vital role in creating a warm and orderly atmosphere for worship. As the first faces many people see upon entering the sanctuary, our ushers serve with hearts of hospitality and hands of service, ensuring that every member and guest feels welcomed, comfortable, and cared for.

Grounded in the spirit of Psalm 84:10 – “I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God…”, the ministry is dedicated to serving God by serving His people. Ushers assist in maintaining the flow of each worship service, guiding seating, supporting offerings, and attending to the needs of the congregation with grace and dignity.

The Ushers Ministry strives to reflect the love of Christ through kindness, respect, and order—helping to create an environment where all can focus on praising and worshiping God freely.
